Position

  • Developing and implementing marketing objectives and plans in accordance with Korea Market Strategies as per global guideline.
  • To assist Marketing Director for Marketing strategy in line with the company’s objectives to increase brand awareness and achieve the sales target.
  • Plan, develop and execute yearly and monthly marketing plan for each distribution as well as managing and supporting new launches & ongoing key SKUs. 

Job responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy and Plan

  • Support MD to define the strategic directions and lead the marketing plan
  • Plan local marketing calendar in alignment with the global guidelines
  • Implement the marketing plan to increase brand awareness, brand’s market share and sales.
  • Define, implement and monitor marketing activity. (launches, renovations, push of products, campaigns, field activities, competitor review)

 

2. Product and Promotion Management

  • Prepare yearly marketing objectives and strategies based on business and market trends through quantitative and qualitative analysis, recommending any necessary strategic changes
  • Efficiently Interact with RA, SPM, DC to ensure the smooth importation, delivery of products, and proactively communicate on the fulfillment time schedule
  • Establish annual/monthly forecast by product and monitor the performance of each product category, highlight the products with poor performance and recommend solution to resolve
  • Take key in managing budget for monthly marketing spend (ie. GWP, samples, etc.)
  • Recommend the product deletions on an annual or seasonal basis
  • Monitor the monthly promotion level and plan accordingly to meet the annual target of promotion weight, considering GWPs, Sets, online sales, etc.

 

3. Report & Analysis

  • Weekly & Monthly by category and channel sales performance analysis and define key indications for business
  • Consolidate and deep dive on Beaute Research data and share the market trend with related parties
  • Conduct post launch evaluation analysis of major launches
  • Regularly monitor and analyze competitors’ activities and trend reports including new launches, promotions, marketing emphasis, price etc.

 

4. Stock Management

  • Based on the forecast, monitor the stock level
  • Actively communicate with SPM team to prevent OOS and any product delivery issues, and for healthy inventory management
  • Manage the right stock level by communication with related teams

Profile

  • University degree
  • Over 5 years of experience in cosmetics industry preferred
  • Effective and professional communication skills in Korean and English
  • Proficient in MS powerpoint, excel, word
  • Multi-tasker with strong interpersonal / communication skills
  • Proactive and positive attitude, passion for the brand & cosmetics industry
