We're excited to announce an opening for a Sales Manager (Off-Trade), Philippines Based, reporting to General Manager (Philippines). As the Sales Manager (Off Trade), you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight to the off-trade sales team. You will drive revenue growth, foster key account relationships, and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on market opportunities. The position requires strategic leadership, effective team management, proactive key account management, and a strong ability to drive sales planning and execution. The role leads market analysis and insights. As such, this role will lead cross-functional collaboration and represent continuous improvement and compliance and governance. The person in this role will be responsible for operational excellence and business growth.

How you will contribute…

As the Senior Manager/Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight to the off-trade sales team. You will drive revenue growth, foster key account relationships, and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in off-trade sales management, a proven track record of success, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the off-trade sales strategy, aligning with overall business objectives. Provide visionary leadership to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of off-trade account managers and sales representatives. Set clear goals and expectations, provide coaching and support, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  3. Key Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, including retailers, distributors, and other partners. Identify opportunities for collaboration and growth, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues or challenges.
  4. Sales Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
  5. Market Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities. Conduct regular market analysis and leverage insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, supply chain, and product development, to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to stay ahead of the competition.
  8. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity in all business dealings.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in off-trade sales management, with a focus on the FMCG or Beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, building key account relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of off-trade market dynamics, including retail trends, distribution channels, and competitor landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute actionable plans.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and market insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
