Job responsibilities

How you will contribute…

Overview of the position

  • To implement and execute the sales action plans to achieve the objectives of sales volume and revenue, price management, merchandising, consumer activations and channel related activities within assigned territory for specific channel types.
  • To develop and maintain good working relationship with all outlets assigned and consolidate market trend and client’s feedback as the territory suggestions to customer marketing team for consumer activation improvement.
  • Mentoring junior team members and attend cross function projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance
    • Achieve the agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales target set by the Manager
    • Gaining suitable outlets in order to expand distribution of the Company's core and strategic brands among potential customers to hit and overachieve the distribution target
    • Following store segmentation and assortment planning to list right brands portfolio to the right outlets
    • Focus on sell out result and maintain health trade stock in the outlets level
  • Business Insight
    • Implement the territory store segmentation planning and following by aligned call plan
    • Maintain an accurate, updated sales supporter database following by consumer activation results and feedbacks
    • Understanding and evaluating the sell in and sell out result with inventory control to maintain the health business situation for outlet level
    • Professional knowledge: Spirit and Wine WSET level 2
  • Merchandising & Display
    • Ensure maximum facings and display of the Company’s strategic brands at the outlets level following by segmentation and assortment planning
    • Ensure trade activation and brand visibility in the correct position with correct POSM guideline
  • Market Intelligence
    • Collecting and analysis consumer insight from trade partners and providing the suggestion
    • Monitor competitors' activities including pricing and placement
  • Consumer Activations
    • Execute and make sure the consumer activation be implemented in the outlets level
    • Collecting the feedback from both consumer and customer sides
    • Work closely with customer marketing team to evaluate methods to improve activation effectiveness and operational efficiencies as well as FTT efficiencies.
  • Mentoring and Project Assignment
    • Mentoring and help to develop the junior team members
    • Participate in assigned specific projects for channels or cross function projects to gain visibility within the org. 

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Management
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in multinational companies, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong commercial sense and understanding of large brand business within FMCG and/or luxury industries
  • Familiar with local alcohol-related regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Proficient in English
