As the Senior Manager, Marketing Performance, you will play a pivotal role in driving marketing effectiveness and ROI across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. You will be responsible for collaborating with local markets to successfully deliver their marketing activations ensuring high ROI, working efficiencies and evaluation for future learnings.

How you will contribute…

Overview of the position

  • This is a critical individual contributor role, with future team management potential, reporting to the Regional Head of Intelligence & Performance.
  • The role involves establishing strong partnerships with APAC businesses, acting as a trusted advisor, and collaborating on exciting marketing campaigns for various Maisons.
  • Success will be measured by the ability of local markets to execute well-measured campaigns that contribute to understanding marketing ROI and impact.
  • This role will be significantly involved in the regional marketing strategies, full-funnel optimization, advanced analytics, stakeholder management, media strategy, infrastructure development, and capability building within the marketing community.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Funnel Marketing - Pre-Campaign:

  • Creative Asset Effectiveness: Collaborate and guide regional markets on the viability and effectiveness of creative assets from Maisons, ensuring alignment with regional market nuances and campaign objectives.
  • Marketing Plan Development: Support and advise markets in developing robust marketing plans, with a strong focus on media strategy, including channel selection, optimization, and measurement. Confidently challenge stakeholders’ choices and offer well-reasoned data-driven recommendations.
  • Infrastructure Setup: Work with markets to establish essential infrastructure, such as dashboards and campaign trackers, to ensure readiness for activation and effective measurement of success.

2. Full Funnel Marketing - During Campaign Execution & Monitoring:

  • Performance Tracking: Maintain and update all dashboards and campaign trackers to ensure accurate and real-time data availability.
  • Ongoing Reporting: Provide ongoing performance results through relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategic Adjustments: Assist markets in making timely adjustments to their marketing strategy based on consumer feedback and in-flight performance data.

3. Full Funnel Marketing - Post-Campaign Evaluation & Learning:

  • Post-Campaign Evaluation: Partner with key research agencies to conduct end-to-end post-campaign evaluation studies.
  • Comprehensive Storytelling: Connect results from various mediums (e.g., sales data, search volume trends, post-campaign evaluation insights) to present a holistic performance story to stakeholders.
  • Learning & Application: Extract actionable learnings from campaigns for future activations and share valuable insights and best practices based on regional visibility.
  • Regional & Global Reporting: Work with global stakeholders, offering regional perspectives and performance insights partnering local markets to facilitate regional reporting. Provide comprehensive view of the business situation to key stakeholders.

4. Training & Development:

  • Marketing Community Education: Collaborate with the Intelligence team to drive education and training for all stakeholders.
  • Brand Plans Support: Provide support to markets during the annual brand strategy planning period and process.
  • Regional Hub: Share best practices and provide a platform for markets to learn from each other.

We are looking for:

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of engaging clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across the globe, and will thrive independently under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional languages being a distinct advantage, as this role requires navigating complex cultural and business landscapes across geographic regions to foster positive organizational contributions.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling large-scale performance marketing campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge in media planning, media buying, media channels, social listening, influencer management and marketing effectiveness analysis and performance management.
  • Experience in partnering with media and/or research agencies to support, analyze and improve marketing performance in activations, campaigns and day-to-day operations.

 

Proficiencies:

  • Deep expertise in various paid channels: Programmatics, Display, Social, Search, Influencer and more covering both traditional and digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they integrate with paid strategies.
  • Preferably proficiency with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Excel or similar.
  • Proficient in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to present insights.
  • Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their integration with marketing efforts.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage a variety of stakeholders across different organizational levels and backgrounds.
  • Able to effectively collaborate and partner markets to plan, monitor and deliver marketing goals via marketing activations and campaigns.
  • Ability to analyze, dissect and communicate marketing activation effectiveness to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
