We're thrilled to announce the opening for Accountant / Senior Accountant, AR based in Singapore. This position plays a key regional role in driving credit-management excellence, enhancing collection performance, and strengthening AR governance across multiple markets Oversees complex portfolios, provides cross-market support, and acts as SME and mentor within the RCoE.

This will be a fixed term contract for 2 years.

Job responsibilities

How you will contribute…

AR Reporting & Credit Analysis

  • Lead monthly credit-risk reporting with advanced analysis and insights
  • Perform complex reconciliations and lead balance-sheet commentary
  • Identify high-risk customers and recommend mitigation actions
  • Prepare and escalate credit-limit proposals before Treasury approval

    Credit Control & Collections
  • Independently manage SO release for high-risk / high-volume markets
  • Drive proactive collections and provide strategic escalation recommendations
  • Lead monthly credit & collection calls for assigned markets
  • Guide markets to reduce overdue, improve DSO, and strengthen discipline
  • Resolve complex customer issues with Finance, CS, SC, and Markets

    Operational Support & Market Coordination
  • Independently manage end-to-end AR operations for complex markets (eg, HK, PH, India, Wineries)
  • Support multiple markets during peak cycles or restructuring
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve escalations
  • Perform advanced credit-risk assessment and exposure analysis

    Leadership, Guidance & Behavioural Competency
  • Act as team leader by influence and mentor junior team members
  • Ensure adherence to DOA and credit policies across markets
  • Demonstrate sound judgement when handling escalations
  • Promote regional consistency and drive continuous improvement

    Strategic & Operational Impact
  • Move beyond execution to propose improvements in processes, controls, and risk mitigation
  • Contribute to measurable improvements in overdue and DSO
  • Support transformation initiatives and market harmonisation

    Coverage Responsibilities
  • Provide regional coverage across (Reporting / Operations / Collections) functions during absences or high-volume periods
  • Support crisis management and urgent operational issues

  • Demonstrated expertise in collection and credit management is mandatory.
  • Proven finance and accounting experience in complex, multicultural organizational environments is a strong advantage
  • Experience in credit management is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP B1, SAP HANA, Salesforce, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is highly preferred.
  • Involvement in system implementation or automation project, with experience in requirement gathering, change impact analysis, or user acceptance testing, is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and actively contribute in team meetings, resolve conflicts, and propose effective solutions.
  • Industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Luxury Goods sectors is a plus.
  • Commercially savvy and data-driven, with proven ability in handling financial analysis, and managing complex financial data.
