Intern Business Controlling (m/f/d) ideal for a one year contract starting from May 2026

 

Mission Statement:

We are looking for an ideally 12-month internship. Join our Finance Team to support the Business Controlling Manager and other team members in providing essential business analysis that supports strategy and the production of financial statements.

Job responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preparing the budget process and forecast development (budgeting, re-forecasting, strategic planning).
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports for the management team, commenting on key variances.
  • Propose corrective actions and implement appropriate solutions to achieve objectives.
  • Monitor strategy implementation with relevant KPIs.
  • Follow up on price implementation, sales conditions, trade fund investments, and A&P budgets.
  • Provide Moët Hennessy and its Maisons with quantitative and qualitative reporting according to schedule.
  • Support various departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations) with necessary information to aid decision-making processes.
  • Improve controlling capabilities and process efficiency.
  • Assist Finance Reporting and Accounting teams with any ad-hoc requests.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and help enhance internal control practices.

Profile

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Languages: 

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.

Professional experience & Knowledge:  

Ideally, 1-2 years of prior work experience in a financial department. Solid knowledge of information systems (SAP, Hyperion, decision-making tools).

Technical & management skills: 

Knowledge of accounting principles, an accurate and analytical approach, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with web-based platforms.

Personal & interpersonal skills: 

Business-oriented mindset, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, team-building skills, action-oriented approach, results-driven attitude, integrity and trustworthiness, capacity for quick learning, ability to motivate others, commitment to deadlines, strong analytical/synthetic skills, and good written/oral communication skills.
