Job responsibilities

As part of the Travel Retail team based in Paris, you will support the Head of Finance & Operations and the Regional Senior Financial Controllers (Europe, Africa Middle East and India) to follow and analyze the financial data and the operations of Travel Retail.

Internship starting on the beginning of January.

Your area of activity includes the following tasks:

I- Support monthly analysis of turnover and profitability

  • Analyse performance indicators in different Markets / Categories
  • Analyse sales, expenses and profitability
  • Assist in analysis and report of customers depletions (sell-out) to control stocks level, distribution channels, channel mix… on monthly basis.

II- Assist in monitoring daily activity & project

  • Participate in forecast phases modeling (Budget, Last Estimate, R&O)
  • Participate in the development and modernisation of our analytical tools
  • Prepare the internal presentations for the Global Travel Retail Board
  • Support the Financial Director with adhoc analysis needs.

Profile

  • Currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Master program in Finance
  • At least one relevant experience in Finance, controlling / reporting, ideally in the Wine & Spirits or luxury industry
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge – Essbase, Power BI and Cognos are a plus
  • Fluent in French and English
  • A problem-solving mindset, you know how to deal with complexity and thrive in a dynamic working environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills Team spirit oriented, and will enjoy being part of a short finance Team
