The Senior Anaplan Analyst will partner with Director on the management of the MHUSA Integrated Planning platform (Anaplan eco systems) by setting up/training end users, providing data reconciliation and investigation, and assisting on Anaplan model building and testing.
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office
Job responsibilities
Anaplan Data Integration & Maintenance
- Lead the design, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines between Anaplan, GCP, and other enterprise systems (Topaz, PBI, etc.).
- Define standards for data validation and quality monitoring, ensuring reliability and auditability across all Anaplan systems and data consistency across MHUSA reporting platform.
- Oversee the deployment of new integrations, coordinating with IT and data teams to ensure scalable architecture.
- Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide documentation to maintain transparency and continuity.
Anaplan User Support & Training:
- Provide phone and online support of end users if necessary
- Assist on administrative data movement to support end user applications
- Compilation and update of Anaplan training materials; document evolution of dashboards/modules based on core team/key user routine meetings
- Facilitate regular training (eLearning or classroom) schedules
Anaplan Model Building and Continuous Improvement:
- Serve as internal model architect for new Anaplan initiatives, ensuring best practices in model design, UX, and governance.
- Promote and Implement new Anaplan features and functionalities to existing Anaplan applications
- Manage migration and alignment across Development, UAT, and Production environments, ensuring version control and governance best practices.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to increase speed, accuracy, and transparency of reporting cycles.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
Professional Experience & Skills:
3+ years of experience in Finance Systems and/or Anaplan
Practical/Technical Knowledge
- Excellent analytical and interpretative skills
- Proven proficiency in MS Excel, Financial Systems, and Anaplan
- Comfortable with large data sets and learning internal database systems; experience with Python/VBA or other script or programing languages
- High level of attention to detail
