Moët Hennessy is the Wines and Spirits division of LVMH. It gathers more than 25 wines and spirits like Hennessy, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Belvedere, Glenmorangie, Chandon, Terrazas, Chateau D’Esclans. Those brands are supported by a powerful global distribution network that has been strengthened over the years.

As part of MH Supply Chain strategy, operational excellence occupies a focal point and there is a clear roadmap to achieve it in different elements of MH operations.

One of them is IBP – Integrated Business Planning, program encompassing business forecasting processes and tools. This represents a challenge for LAC distributors management and brings a timely opportunity to set up new new approaches and ways of planning.

As first steps towards this strategy, we will focus on taking best practices from other regions or to develop new tools to allow statistical analysis and provide better forecast accuracy.

We are looking for someone passionate about data and information creator to implement Sales and Operations Planning and eager to develop leadership skills.

 

The V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) program is an initiative by Business France that enables young French and European citizens aged 18 to 28 to undertake a professional assignment abroad for a period of 6 to 24 months.

Throughout the assignment, participants are supported by the French Embassy and Business France, ensuring a secure and structured environment to gain valuable international work experience.

We are seeking a VIE candidate available to start on September 1st for the period of 12 months, with possibility of extention to 24 months.

Job responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning:

  • Lead the sales forecast process by improving current tools for analysis (OTB) to deliver different forecast scenarios that include market inputs (Purchasing plan from Distributors, agreed with Market Managers) and other insihgts that lead to a more accurate and realistic sales plan.
  • Analyze historical data, stocks, depletion and trends for a better support and outcomes.
  • Support IBP project implementation.
  • Support activities related to S&OP process implementation.
  • Support Market Managers in maintaining visibility of the active portfolio by distributor and market and timely communicate the phase in-phase outs and any other relevant information impacting customers.
  • Hold frequent communication and meetings with supply planning teams from Maison/Central Team to review demand and supply.
  • Participate in the LAC Demand review or any other meetings with local, regional or central teams related to sales forecast and supply to MHPA.

Goals:

  • SFA Sales Forecast Accuracy 40%, bias: 10%
  • IBP/S&OP cycle implementation

Profile

Education:   Engineering, Economics, Business Management.

Languages:  Fluency in English, Spanish/French are strong plus.

Skills: 

  • Advanced Data Analytics oriented
  • Statistics and tools management (advanced excel user is mandatory)
  • Organized individual. High level of attention to detail.

Criteria for VIE Program:

  • Over 18 and under 28 years old on the date you apply and register on the Mon VI website. The assignment must start no later than your 29th birthday (bearing in mind that a V.I.E contract always starts on the 1st of the month).
  • Be French or a European citizen.
  • Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°).
  • Have a clean criminal record.
  • Be able to devote yourself full time to your assignment : no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies or paid activity at the same time as your V.I.E.
  • Accept the letter of appointment that you sign with Business France which sets out your rights and your duties during your assignment.
