Joining our Company at the inception of its GBS journey, the Business Solution Owner – Source to Pay is responsible for ensuring the solutions meet the agreed upon Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements ensuring a good level of satisfaction of the stakeholders.
Main duties are:
- Ensure administration, training and user support
- Monitor the delivery of the business value, user adoption and satisfaction
- Drive the evolution of business solutions
This position requires interactions with IT teams, Project managers and Business community and reports to the Business Solutions and Projects Director.
Job responsibilities
Administration, training and user support
- Warrant the reliability and consistency of business solutions. Ensure they are up and running, run administration tasks and data consistency controls, identify and resolve system issues., lead investigation and/or reconciliation campaigns through the different systems layers at stake in coordination with the IT stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (user and admin guides)
- Provide or facilitate user training (in collaboration with IT) to ensure the business draws maximum value from the solutions
- Act as a solution expert for users worldwide and for IT teams seeking functional advice
- Responsible for the integrity of data and accesses
Business value, user adoption and satisfaction
- Animate user communities, in particular: promote existing tools; encourage best practice sharing; assess adoption and user satisfaction (performance, functional benefits)
- Gather feedback on improvement needs from business community either to improve processes or upgrade the tool where needed
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business solutions and formulate recommendations for improving or further leveraging these systems, including interfaces between systems
- Measure the business value by defining and monitoring KPIs and benchmark with competitors or industry standards. Formulate recommendations to BPOs on action plans to improve the performance of the processes at stake
Evolution of business solutions
- Collect and review business needs and improvements requests expressed by the key-users
- Challenge evolution requests with core model processes in mind
- Translate business needs into functional requirements. Define functional requirements and system goals.
- Manage the evolution pipeline; assess and prioritize the evolutions needs; make recommendations to BPOs for arbitration
- Collaborate with business contributors and experts in the design, planning, development and rollout of solution evolutions
- Lead the activities related to evolutions release: communication, training, tests, definition of corrective actions, release in production
- Work with IT partners to establish and challenge the solution costs; Optimize both evolution and running costs
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of evolutions
- Stay abreast of technology evolutions (tech watch) and anticipate/recommend applications to the company

- Employee T&E claims: Concur T&E

- Reporting & Analysis : PowerBI, Google Cloud Platform
Profile
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Business or Engineering School, Master’s degree or equivalent
- 5/7 years of experience within finance / purchasing of a large international firm; or within an IT department or consulting firm environment as business application manager or expert
LANGUAGES / TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Fluent in English/French
- Mastery of MS Office (Excel advanced, Powerpoint)
- Strong appetite to operate in multiple IT systems
- Knowledge of process management
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba, Concur and other P2P applications
PERSONAL & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- You are autonomous, proactive, results driven with solid organizational and multi-project management skills
- You federate and communicate efficiently (listening and written/verbal) with many stakeholders in a cross-cultural ecosystem
