Position

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Retail Manager is responsible for retail sales to gain market share and to maximize productivity of counters in the area

Job responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Sales Development

• Develop sales and manage sales performance by store to reach the target
• Evaluate and manage BC Productivity/individual sales results based on KPI
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target of the area and key products through monitoring the progress of sales
• Communicate competition’s marketing activity to management

Management of Sales Force 

• Ensure that BCs follow selling guideline and express Brand values through customer service
• Motivate BCs to have team spirit and be goal driven
• Conduct regular counter visits and ensure the development of BCs through regular coaching and appraisals
• Propose development plan to increase knowledge and skills
• Manage BCs daily working life including control over holiday schedules, working hours and training schedules, etc
• Recruit qualified BCs and allocate them to counter
• Perform duties related to occupational health and safety for retail employees as a supervisor in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act

Promotion/Animation Management & Negotiation with Department Store

• Supervise and execute the promotional activities formulated by Marketing department
• Discuss and negotiate with the store to have visuals, promotion events etc.
• Manage preparation status and feedback report for each promotion event
• Deliver messages, purposes, action plans at each promotion event to BCs

Profile

Key Competencies

• Prior experience in beauty industry more than 3 years, mainly retail manager role or Trade marketing experience in the industrial dealing with Dept. store distribution
• Strong interpersonal & communication skill
• Excellent self-driven spirit, team player and also can work independently
• Willing to travel at a minimum of 60% of time in a week at counter
• People-oriented supervisory skill
• Customer and sales focus

Technical Skills

• Negotiation skills
• Business acumen, analytical mind and proven storing skill in excel and PPT
• Strong leadership and charisma to lead counters assigned
