Position

Parfums Christian Dior Japon is part of the LVMH group, the largest luxury brand in the world. As a Creative Specialist, you will play a role in developing and delivering high-quality creative content, including product copy and promotional materials, that precisely fits the brand's image and requirements. This position is reporting to Group Product Manager of Skincare in Product Management Group, and located in Tokyo.

Job responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Copy Development

  • Print Ad Copy

Coordinate with advertising agencies, write/develop original print ad copy, provide direction for layout, ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, manage internal approvals, and handle final submission for print.

  • Product Copy

Write compelling taglines and product descriptions, ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and manage internal approvals.

 

2) Production Management (In-store promotional materials such as leaflets, sample cards, handout cards, etc.)

  • Manage production schedules and costs.
  • Thoroughly understand product specifications to write precise and accurate Japanese text/copy for in-store promotional materials.
  • Provide direction for layout and design.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading and quality checks. Oversee print production processes, including final submission and color proofing.
  • Liaise with domestic and international vendors.

Profile

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: University graduate, preferably with a degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Journalism, Humanities (e.g., Literature), or a field emphasizing strong writing and analytical skills
  • Experience: Minimum five years of professional experience, preferably gained in the cosmetics (especially skincare) industry or an advertising agency, with experience in content/copywriting. Creative work experience (contents creating/ copy writing) in brand business is also appreciated.
  • Language: Fluent in English (TOEIC 850 equivalent), Japanese native level
  • PC Skills: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Personality : passionate about the Dior brand, active, creative, flexible, structured, responsible, opened mind, well organized, likes cosmetics, digital savvy, curious of trend, team-oriented and supportive, accountable and proactive, respectful communicator, open minded to feedback.
