Parfums Christian Dior Japon is part of the LVMH group, the largest luxury brand in the world. We are hiring a Traffic Strategy Lead to strengthen the connection between data, media investment, and e-commerce growth. This newly created role will focus on optimizing digital traffic and media performance to drive sales conversion, while contributing to full-funnel media execution in close partnership with the Branding Media team.

As part of the Omnichannel Department, this role will serve as a strategic connector between internal teams and external media agencies. The ideal candidate will use business intelligence to guide media investment decisions, improve traffic quality, and support integrated planning that delivers measurable business impact.

This role will be reporting to E-Commerce Senior Manager, and located in Tokyo.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traffic Behavior & Optimization:
    Analyze traffic sources and on-site behavior to identify high-performing segments, optimize conversion paths, and improve ROI across digital channels.
  • Data-Driven Investment Planning:
    Use business intelligence (client data, sales trends, category performance) to inform media planning and budget allocation, ensuring alignment with e-commerce KPIs. This role also significantly involves Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and attribution modeling.
  • E-Commerce Media Performance:
    Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of performance media initiatives (search, display, social, affiliate, etc.) to drive qualified traffic and maximize e-commerce sales conversion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner closely with Branding Media, CRM, Data & AI, CRO, and Marketing teams to ensure performance media strategies are insight-led, integrated, and aligned with full-funnel goals.
    This role also requires integration and alignment with HQ Media and HQ Digital teams closely following global guidelines, as well as Group Level & Christian Dior Fashion coordination.  
  • Agency Partnership:
    Collaborate with media agencies to define briefs, align on KPIs, and ensure execution excellence across paid media channels, with a focus on performance outcomes.
  • Measurement & Reporting:
    Build and maintain dashboards to track traffic quality, media effectiveness, and conversion performance. Translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support Full-Funnel Execution:
    Contribute to full-funnel media planning by providing performance insights and traffic strategies that enhance branding campaigns and overall sales impact.
  • Innovation & Best Practices:
    Stay ahead of digital trends, platform innovations, and consumer behavior shifts to continuously evolve our media and traffic approach.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5–8 years of experience in performance media, digital marketing, or e-commerce growth roles.
  • Proven ability to manage media investments and optimize digital traffic for conversion.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in traffic analysis, attribution, and KPI-driven planning.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics, Tableau) and CRM/CDP platforms.
  • Experience working with media agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English preferred.
