We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Backoffice Transformation Project Manager to lead the initiation of our ambitious journey towards implementing best-in-class solutions covering following business processes: Manufacturing to inventory, procure to pay, Order to cash and Product lifecycle management.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless transition from existing solutions to a comprehensive suite of solutions, including SAP (with a focus on S/4HANA for core processes), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Collaboration Applications, and Quality Assurance (QA) solutions.

Job responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis and solution definition:Drive the in-depth analysis of existing processes, solutions, and data across production, quality, engineering, supply chain, R&D, product, and sales departments. Identify areas for improvement and guide the definition of integrated solutions.
- Orchestrate and manage comprehensive project plans:Develop, execute, and oversee robust project plans for the implementation of core business solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA (covering Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Distribution), PLM, Collaborative Applications, and QA tools.
- Establish and lead cross-functional governance:Assemble and lead a cross-functional project committee, ensuring alignment and decision-making across all involved departments and stakeholders.
- Drive collaborative execution:Foster effective collaboration with consultants, technical teams, and business units throughout the project lifecycle to achieve integrated solutions.
- Ensure successful project delivery and quality:Oversee the seamless implementation of solutions, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry best practices.
- Manage system integration activities:Coordinate with IT teams to ensure all necessary system integrations are planned, executed, and validated effectively.
- Lead change management for adoption:Develop and manage comprehensive change management strategies to drive acceptance and seamless adoption of new systems and processes across all business units.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven track record (7+ years) in successfully leading and delivering complex IT system transformation programs and projects.
- Strong expertise in managing complex ERP implementations, with significant experience in SAP (ideally including exposure to S/4HANA transformations). Familiarity with PLM and QA solution landscapes is a plus.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes, procurement, quality management, engineering, supply-chain, R&D, product development, and sales operations.
- Exemplary project management skills (planning, execution, risk management, budget control)
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities (cross-functional teams, external vendors).
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English and intermediate German ; French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for approx. 20% of your working time, especially during the roll out-phase
