Job responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Retail Operations Manager Europe your role will be to support store teams in all programs and processes related to their operations.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, processes, be customer and exceedingly detail oriented.

The candidate will participate in store projects in support to Retail Operations Manager and will be the main point of contact for stores on operations topics.

Operational responsibilities

Reporting

  • Ensure weekly control of till closing & sales reconciliation for all stores in the network;
  • Ensure monthly control on sales restrictions/credit notes/payment limits for all stores in the network;
  • Coordination of monthly shopping bags campaign : calendar, inventory, dispatch and follow up;
  • Coordination of quarterly collaterals’ campaign : calendar, inventory, dispatch and follow up;
  • Participation in the Full Year inventory campaign

IT

  • IT projects closed follow up : tickets follow up and resolution;
  • Support to store for IT issues by being the link between stores and IT
  • Omnichannel: training for new hires and reporting follow up to boost usage

General [not exhaustive]

  • Support to store teams on daily tasks
  • Support to store teams new team members’ onboarding
  • Support and follow up on common suppliers ( STIF, HeardIS, SmartImpulse etc).
  • Follow up and regular check on guidelines across the network: Uniforms & grooming ; F&B..
  • Store suppliers' (ex. last mile delivery, F&B, cleaning..) follow up : negotiation & standards
  • Simplifield :
    • Ensure communications are shared with all the stores with consistency;
    • Ensure on time completion of simplifield campaigns;
    • Ensure requested Simplifield check list are duly filed by RM and RO;
  • ESKER/ YOOZ management: creation of PO, follow up on reception and invoices management;
  • YEXT management - opening times & pics for all stores in the network
    • Ensure opening hours are correct and regularly update them
    • Ensure pictures are well uploaded
    • Ensure coherence of information between the store (pics/services)
  • Skello
    • Ensure onboarding of new hires, archive of old employee and planning monitoring;
    • Follow up on clock in/clock out;
  • Health & Safety
    • Ensure compliance, implementation of health & safety guidelines in store for clients and teams safety;
    • Supply stores with PPE and related H&S documentation and work tools;
    • Update health & safety guidelines in coordination with HR and central client care;
    • Check stores’ safety registers and conduct risk assessment check list on yearly basis;
    • Keep a focus on safety conditions in stock room and client care;
    • Supervise staff training needs and implement them in coordination with HR and safety management

Profile

Education

  • High school degree or university degree (e.g. bachelor) in a business related field.

Background

  • Ideally with store experience of minimum 2 years
  • Project management, time management, organizational and analytical communication skills
  • Strong customer focus, able to adapt communication to different levels of business partners in retail network (regional managers, store managers, stock specialists, client managers etc…)
  • Implement a collaborative approach to project work whilst still able to work autonomously on multiple projects at any one time
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
