Position

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is on the hunt for an experienced fixed-term Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this integral role will partner with the HR team on various HR, Payroll, and Centre of Excellence activities required to drive and deliver our key HR objectives!

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering compliant HR and Payroll operations across the entire employee lifecycle, actively contributing to daily HR activities and strategic projects and initiatives.

Job responsibilities

Your key tasks include, though not limited to:

HR Administration:

  • Generate and process essential HR documentation applying established procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate employee files and records in line with company standards
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Provide initial support for various HR queries

Payroll Processing and Compliance:

  • Prepare timesheet files for payroll processing and partner on accurate processing of the fortnightly and New Zealand pay cycles
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of employee records in our HRIS
  • Coordinate super payments and monthly payroll tax calculations
  • Assist in maintaining our T&A system for compliance

Recruitment Support:

  • Coordinate the full recruitment administration cycle, including creating job postings, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and preparing employment contracts and pre-employment documentation

Employee Relations Support:

  • Provide first-level support for employee queries related to policies, procedures, and general HR matters
  • Assist in coordinating employee relations processes

HR Project Support and Data Management:

  • Contribute to HR operational projects and initiatives, collaborating with the broader HR team
  • Partner with the HR team on process and system improvements
  • Support ad hoc and regular reporting, including monthly headcount and annual HR reports.

Workplace Health and Safety:

  • Take reasonable care for own health and safety; and
  • Do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons
  • Comply with any reasonable instructions given by the employer, supervisor or controller
  • Adhere to all reasonable policies and procedures in place relating to workplace health and safety

Profile

  • Proven experience in HR Coordination or a similar administrative role, with an existing grasp of payroll processes
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Tanda, Elmo, Datacom), and experience with Australian/New Zealand payroll regulations and modern Awards (GRIA, Storage Award desirable)
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a solutions-focused approach to HR and payroll challenges
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
  • A professional, discreet, and approachable individual with a commitment to process improvement and confidentiality
  • Tertiary studies in HR and knowledge of employment law within a retail environment are highly regarded
