Position

The Retail Excellence role ensures frontline operations comply with local regulations and align with Group and Brand standards by developing market-relevant SOPs, conducting on-site audits, collecting field documentation for subsequent review, and driving continuous operational optimization.

MAIN TASKS

  • Compliance Management

o Ensure frontline operations comply with local regulations and Group/Brand policies (HQ & Local), proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.

o On-site Audits: Conduct regular store visits to observe operations and spot execution gaps.

o Documentation Review: Collect, analyze, and validate field documents (e.g., checklists, records, incident reports) to verify compliance and guide improvements.

  • SOP Development & Updates

o Design, document, and maintain clear, actionable SOPs that reflect current market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and brand expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SOPs are practical, scalable, and effectively communicated to store teams.

  • Driving Operational Optimization

o Use insights from audits, and frontline feedback to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, consistency improvements, and enhanced customer experience. Lead or support initiatives that standardize best practices and elevate overall retail performance.

  • Retail-Related Projects and Task Forces

o Participate in special projects and cross-brand task forces focused on strategic retail priorities, ensuring alignment with operational excellence principles.

  • Presentation and Reporting

o Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to various levels (store managers, RSM etc.). Communicate audit findings, compliance status, SOP updates, and optimization progress to drive informed decision-making and accountability.



QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in retail operations or audit firms; a compliance background is preferred.
  • Mandatory Skills and Requirements:

o Strong communicator and coach; skilled in issue identification, root-cause analysis, and developing CAPA

o Logical, detail-oriented, and skilled at creating clear, learner-friendly content format.

o Good in Excel, PPT, and major database software.

o Willingness to travel as required by the role.

  • Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in English and Chinese

It all began with Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain. A perfumer, chemist, inventor and researcher, the House’s founder settled up his first boutique in the heart of Paris, at 42, rue de Rivoli. The address quickly became an essential destination for dandies and elegant women. The House’s reputation at the courts of Europe peaked when in 1853, for the marriage of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, Pierre-François-Pascal created his Eau de Cologne Impériale, which he gave to the young bride as a wedding present.Since then, five successive generations of Guerlain perfumers have held the House’s creative reins. Today, Thierry Wasser is the heir to an olfactory legacy of some 1100 fragrances and the intrepid leader of future projects, exploring the world in search of the most exclusive raw materials.
