Position

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify 3-5 key areas of accountability and outputs of the position in order of importance.

Product Marketing Calendar & Launch Planning

• Develop and maintain China annual product marketing calendar for makeup and fragrances.

• Adapt global launch strategies into local execution including campaign themes, animations, and exclusive client events.

• Ensure all launch activities align with Louis Vuitton’s luxury image and the unique constraints/opportunities of a single store.

Forecasting & Inventory Management

• Lead initial and rolling forecasts for sellable products and non-sellable items

• Collaborate with supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent out-of-stock on hero SKUs while minimizing obsolescence.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

• Serve as central coordinator for novelty launches and campaigns, synchronizing all internal teams (Comms, VM, Merchandising, Retail, eCommerce, NEO).

• Lead regular launch meetings, track critical path, and resolve bottlenecks to ensure on-time, on-brand delivery.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor product sell-in / sell-out performance, stock turnover, and client feedback.

• Provide monthly and post-launch performance reports

• Use analysis to recommend repush actions, phase-out decisions, or repeat orders.

Market & Competitor Intelligence

• Track competitive landscape: new product launches, pricing, media investment, KOL activations, and consumer sentiment on social platforms (RED, Douyin, WeChat).

• Identify emerging makeup trends and share insights with global to influence future product development.

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Experience

• At least 10 years of product marketing / brand management experience, with 8+ years specifically in premium beauty (luxury makeup strongly preferred).

• Proven track record of launching makeup or fragrance products in China, including end-to-end 360° campaign orchestration with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

• Fluent in English and Mandarin (oral and written).

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and retail/CRM analytics tools.

• Deep understanding of China’s digital ecosystem (RED, Douyin, WeChat, Tmall) and KOL landscape.
