Position

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely and practical legal support to Maisons on daily operations, commercial transactions, and compliance matters.
  2. Independently draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts of low to moderate complexity, including marketing (media/influencer/celebrity/event), store operation, HR service related, admin, etc.
  3. Review and negotiate contracts that related to Boutique operation with landlord, including storage room, OOH/digital advertising, prepaid card, etc.
  4. Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks in the business operation and provide value-added legal advice.
  5. Monitor legal and regulatory developments in key areas of Retail industry, such as company governance, advertising, consumer protection, etc. and translate these into actionable guidance for the business.
  6. Design and deliver targeted legal training sessions to Maisons’ business teams on key legal topics such as contract review principle and compliance dos and don’ts.
  7. Oversee LVMH China company seal governance, enforcing strict approval protocols and maintaining full compliance with internal policies.
  8. Manage end-to-end corporate affairs tasks for Maisons, including registration, deregistration, changes filings, coordination with government authorities and internal documentation.
  9. Coordinate the IP affairs with internal and external stakeholder.
  10. Manage operations and administrative functions of Legal team.
  11. Provide support for other ad-hoc assignments according to business needs.

Key Requirements & Competencies:

  • Qualified PRC lawyer with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained at a top-tier law firm or within the in-house legal team of a multinational corporation - experience in luxury, retail, or consumer goods is highly valued. Experience in IP protection is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of China’s legal and regulatory landscape, particularly in commercial, advertising, and consumer-facing contexts.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken), with the ability to operate confidently in a bilingual, multicultural environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, who has positive and creative mindsets.
  • Solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
