Summary:
You will manage our wholesale and retail operations towards unprecedented success. In collaboration with the General Manager (GM), you will craft and execute a long-term value strategy that aligns with our brand's vision. Your strategic insight will be pivotal in driving sustainable growth across various channels, ensuring product allocation is managed through meticulous inventory analysis, and cultivating a dynamic team culture conducive to professional development.
Job responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Preparation and execution of strategic sales plan
- Preparation and execution of strategic sales plan
- Provide a medium to long-term vision for sales organization including boutique and wholesale door opening/relocation/renovation/closing.
- Define and execute annual sales plan.
- Assess the market demand and set the appropriate sales target.
- Prepare budgets, financial and marketing analysis, and other related reports.
- Manage sales expenses and capital spending within the budget.
- Ensure all operation procedures are properly established and implemented.
- Facilitate all department coordination with boutique as needed (Marketing, Customer Service & Logistics Center, HR, IT etc.)
- Lead to the development of relationships and partnerships with wholesale accounts.
Wholesale Management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance wholesale operations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Retailers to expand market share with wholesales representatives.
- Negotiate with Retailers about new advantageous space, relocation, exhibition and commission contract, franchise boutique opportunity etc., in order to optimize the existing network.
- Make sure all Retailer’s boutique staff take Zenith training (E-learning and physical training), and make them enhance Zenith sales.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, adapting tactics as necessary to achieve goals.
- Reaches performance metrics specific to the channel: sell-out, market share, sell-in vs budget commitment.
Retail Management
- Ensures that Retail sales targets are achieved
- Leads the local team to guarantees the highest standards of boutique operations (Client service, Clientelling, and Boutique Maintenance)
- Responsible for the correct implementation of the central policies and procedures
- With the HR team, is responsible for team recruitment, performance management and feedback processes, succession planning and coaching of teams
- Responsible to anticipate and sort all legal issues with the assistance of Internal control and compliance team: distribution contracts, respect of anti-trust laws, grey market control.
- Drive market audit compliance with Internal Audit teams.
Inventory Analysis & Allocation
- With the Sales Administration Specialist, conduct inventory analyses to predict demand patterns and avoid over/understock situations
- Strategize product allocation across channels based on performance data, seasonal trends, and market dynamics.
- Work closely with HQ product and supply chain teams and local logistics team to streamline processes for maximum efficiency.
People Management
- Develops a positive, entrepreneurial, agile and client centric attitude within a team
- Set appropriate objectives to each staff, monitor and coach their performance continuously, give feedback to enhance their performance and evaluate their performance to build strong team.
Profile
Requirements
- Work experience with wholesalers.
- Hands-on experience in sales operation.
- Managing luxury goods or other retail categories experience.
- Studies or professional experience abroad preferable.
- English: Business level. (TOEIC 800+) is preferable.
- Japanese: Business level. Daily communication within Marketing, Sales, CSL team.
- University degree with a major in Marketing, Economy, Business, Finance statistics.
Technical and personal skill
- Ability to plan, implement and monitor sales database.
- Ability to manage ambiguous situations, plan budget, prioritize multi-tasks and control deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead a team.
