Every year, French, Swiss, and Italian apprentices from the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence come together to tackle a shared challenge proposed by one of the Group’s Maison. In 2026, the Italian Master Games also celebrated the Italian art of living embodied by Acqua di Parma and invited students to reinterpret exceptional craftsmanship through unique projects.

Over 85 talented Italian apprentices worked in teams for months, drawing on creativity, and precision to bring together design, craftsmanship, and the retail experience.

The LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Virtuosos were also involved in these Master Games challenge, as 14 of them supported the students during their working sessions, and 30 of them took part in the final jury session to select the winning projects, which took place on May 26, in Florence.

Three groups whose projects stood out were recognized:

  • Acqua di Parma Prize – Shoemaking, IPSIA Ostilio Ricci, Università Ca’ Foscari & Ca’ Foscari Challenge School
  • Jury Prize – Leather goods, Polimoda, Università Ca’ Foscari & Ca’ Foscari Challenge School
  • Métiers d’Excellence Prize – Knitwear, IOC Primo Levi, Università Ca’ Foscari & Ca’ Foscari Challenge School

Thanks to the support of the partner schools, the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence students had the opportunity to carry out highly qualitative projects:

  • Ca' Foscari Challenge School & Università Ca' Foscari
  • Certottica & ITS Cosmo
  • IIS E. U. Ruzza
  • IOC Primo Levi
  • IPSIA Antonio Pacinotti
  • IPSIA Ostilio Ricci

The same day the students who completed their studies at the Italian Institut des Métiers d’Excellence graduated, and were celebrated during a festive and inspirational ceremony.
