  • The LVMH Institute of Métiers d’Excellence was founded in 2014 to pass on exceptional savoir-faire in 40 Creative, Craft and Customer Experience métiers to young people and people seeking reskilling opportunities.Present in 6 countries (France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Japan and the United States), with 94% of its apprentices receiving the Brevet d’Excellence certificate in 2025. 71% of apprentices at the Institute of Métiers d’Excellence enter the workforce in their professional field or continue studying upon completion of their program, with the vast majority joining one of the Group’s Maisons or external partners.The Institute of Métiers d’Excellence allows us to recruit and train young people, including those without formal qualifications, or people seeking reskilling opportunities, all while maintaining our exacting standardsThrough its choice of work-study programs, the Institute of Métiers d’Excellence offers free practical hands-on training courses that lead to either a certificate or degree to facilitate the start of the students' careers within the LVMH Group, external partner organizations or one of various professional fields. The work-study students in each training program benefit from a combination of technical and classroom-based learning at prestigious schools and universities and gain experience at LVMH Group Maisons through paid apprenticeship or professional training contracts. Throughout the year, they can benefit from Master Classes that give them the opportunity to connect with métier experts, explore workshops and go on cultural field trips. At the end of their training, apprentices receive a Brevet d’Excellence certificate recognized by the Group’s Maisons and partners.

    Present in 6 countries (France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Japan, and the United States), the Institute of Métiers d'Excellence offers free practical hands-on training courses that lead to either a certificate or degree to facilitate the start of the students' careers within the LVMH Group, external partner organizations or one of various professional fields.

    TRAINING AT OUR PARTNER MAISONS

    The work-study students in each training program benefit from a combination of technical and classroom-based learning at prestigious schools and universities and gain professional experience at LVMH companies through paid apprenticeship or professional training contracts.

    EXCLUSIVE MASTER CLASSES

    While attending the various Master Classes, our work-study students will have the opportunity to connect with experts and visit workshops or stores.

    LVMH BREVET D'EXCELLENCE CERTIFICATE

    In addition to the official degree awarded by the partner school or university, a Brevet d’Excellence certificate is awarded to all graduates who have met the standards of excellence required by the ME Institute.

      WORK-STUDY PROGRAM FAQsA work-study program provides free accredited practical hands-on training with a stipend and helps students find employment. Choosing a work-study program also means working towards a vocational qualification.
