Hotel Moynat reimagines the art of travel

On Moynat’s historic trunks, hotel labels tell the story of their owners' travels. These archival details are the starting point for Hotel Moynat, a collection created with stylist Storm Pablo, known for his work with Bad Bunny, and American jewelry designer Marvin Douglas. The collection draws on the Maison’s heritage of trunk-making, reinterpreting it through a contemporary pop culture lens.
For this first chapter, vintage hotel labels are recreated in leather and individually stitched onto Moynat’s signature “M” Monogram canvas. Their colors and graphic designs feature across a range of bags and accessories, from Hobo bags and totes to clutches, passport holders and charms. The collection also includes silk scarves, a new Mignon bag and exclusive Limousine trunks, extending the collaboration across the Maison’s leather goods and travel pieces.
The project builds on Moynat’s longstanding expertise in trunks and travel accessories, while taking a fresh look at the details that define its heritage. Rather than simply reproducing historic designs, Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas select elements of vintage luggage and reinterpret them through their own creative perspectives. Their collaboration brings together fashion, jewelry and contemporary culture, while remaining rooted in the Maison’s craftsmanship and history.
A second chapter will follow in November, introducing crystal studs inspired by the metal fittings that once protected vintage trunks. Applied to the “M” Monogram canvas, these details offer another interpretation of Moynat’s travel heritage. The first chapter of Hotel Moynat is available now in the Maison’s boutiques, with the second soon to arrive at selected points of sale.
