For the next three years, Louis Vuitton will be the principal cultural sponsor of The Frick Collection, one of the world’s foremost art museums, located inside a Gilded Age mansion on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Founded by American industrialist Henry Clay Frick, The Frick Collection has been open to the public since 1935, featuring masterpieces ranging from the Renaissance to the late nineteenth century within its recently renovated historic residence.
Louis Vuitton will support The Frick Collection as lead sponsor for its next three major special exhibitions. The first, Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450–1500, opens in October 2026, followed by two exhibitions, one dedicated to the French enameler Susanne de Court, and the other a monographic nineteenth-century paintings show to be announced.
The Maison will also support the Louis Vuitton First Fridays program, offering free public access to the museum on the first Friday of each month (except January and September), from June 2026 through May 2027.
Finally, Louis Vuitton is supporting a two-year curatorial role at the Frick. Created to foster research and engagement, the Louis Vuitton Curatorial Research Associate position will be held by Yifu Liu, whose research focuses on cultural exchange and the hybridization of artistic practices between Europe and China in the eighteenth century.
