Samaritaine dives into summer with “Samaritaine Paris Gonflé” and carefree, buoyant creativity

Samaritaine welcomes the summer season with the "Samaritaine Paris Gonflé" event. Until August 24, the famous department store invites visitors to enthusiastically embrace iconic Parisian style against the backdrop of bold oversized displays, colors and special events.  

Featuring monumental artistic installations, bespoke beauty experiences and new fashion collaborations, the Pont-Neuf emporium affirms its position as cultural and creative tastemaker. The décor morphs into an urban seaside resort replete with rippling window displays, inflatable furniture and outsize accessories. Inside, the balmy program offers a rich and varied selection.  

Fashion brands are pumped up for great weather with exclusive creations. And Europe’s largest beauty space welcomes a suite of pop-ups. 

Design and contemporary art abound as well, including an immersive installation by designer Marianna Ladreyt, featuring upcycled inflatable pool floats, plus the Esther & Paul art gallery, presenting a selection of summer-themed contemporary and vintage works. The culinary offering welcomes warm-weather flavors too, and a lineup of exciting surprise events will delight visitors all summer long.
