Set in a former 16th Century Benedictine monastery, days at Splendido are spent playing tennis matches with panoramic views over Portofino before unwinding at the first Dior Spa in Italy. With 20 rooms and 41 suites, the hotel is also known for its highly desired dining spots; from alfresco dining on the wisteria-covered balcony of La Terrazza, to a menu of Italian classics at the Splendido Grill, and aperitivo served poolside by a salt-water swimming pool.

In the Piazzetta below, Italian glamour meets relaxed sophistication at Belmond's harbourside Portofino residence: Splendido Mare. Here, gentle waves lap the pebbles of Paraggi Bay, guests and locals alike dine on long leisurely lunches at Dav Mare, savouring upon the signature Pesto Genovese served tableside.

New for summer 2025, Belmond also opened the doors to a lovingly restored private residence in Portofino: Villa Beatrice. Originally designed by Italian architect Gino Coppedè, Villa Beatrice extends the glamour of Splendido with majestic stone arches, poetic frescoed ceilings and unique curios – a nod to the lingering spirit of the Villa’s past. Nestled atop the cliffs on Punta Caiega overlooking Portofino, this intimate family palazzo embodies the essence of timeless Ligurian living.

In 2021, Cheval Blanc unveiled its first urban Maison in the heart of the City of Light, within the iconic Samaritaine building. Conceived by Peter Marino, and inspired by a bold and contemporary spirit, Cheval Blanc Paris pays tribute to the Art Deco heritage, French savoir-faire, and craftsmanship. This confidential haven offers 72 rooms and suites, as well as gathering, dining, and wellness areas.

At Cheval Blanc Paris, Art and design drift through every space like a quiet signature, ever-present, ever-refined. From the poetry of Frank Gehry’s Horse to a curated art collection, and Jean-Michel Othoniel's "Les Fleurs de la Passion" enhancing the building's facade, each work invites stillness and inspires wonder.

The Plénitude restaurant, crowned with three stars by the MICHELIN Guide, is led by Chef Arnaud Donckele, accompanied by Chef Maxime Frédéric for the sweet creations. With one MICHELIN star each, Le Tout-Paris presents a contemporary French brasserie offering a spectacular view over the rooftops of Paris, while the Hakuba restaurant immerses you in a ritualised Japan. Since opening its doors in 1923, Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, has remained one of Brazil’s most iconic landmarks.
