Tiffany & Co. inaugurates largest European location in Milan

Milan welcomes an exceptional new Tiffany & Co. store with the inauguration of the jeweler’s new flagship on the storied Via Monte Napoleone in Palazzo Taverna, a Neoclassical jewel built in 1835.

Inspired by the House’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark, the Milan store redefines the codes of luxury, combining heritage, creativity and an immersive experience.    

Designed by architect Peter Marino, the store sets a new bar for luxury retail. A subtle alliance of historic architecture and contemporary design, the façade features arched windows crafted by legendary Murano glassmaker Venini, recreated from an original design by Gio Ponti. The window displays are freely inspired by Michelangelo Pistoletto, underscoring the House’s longstanding connection with the art world.  

Spanning over 1,200 square meters, the new Tiffany & Co. store offers a unique experience where each space tells a story. Throughout the store, visitors discover major works by Urs Fischer, Julian Schnabel, Daniel Arsham and many other notable artists. Each level is a journey of artistry and exquisite jewelry, from the ground floor to the private salons on the top floor. The heart of the store features a delicate skylight and transparent staircase envisioned by Peter Marino and designed by Hugh Dutton. Together they provide a unique sculptural expression of glass and light, reminiscent of diamonds. 

The flagship showcases the House’s most definitive collections, including Lock by Tiffany, HardWear by Tiffany, T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany as well as a dedicated Elsa Peretti gallery space and High Jewelry section. The first floor has Home & Accessories, Personalization and Client Service spaces. The second floor includes the All About Love area, showcasing the coveted Tiffany® Setting engagement ring. 

Much more than a store opening, the new flagship celebrates Tiffany & Co.’s historic ties with Italy, where art, light and incomparable expertise dialogue in magnificent harmony.
