2025 WINNERS
Fashion Award
VERONICA MARUCCI, Milliner
Graduated in Fashion Design at the IED in Milan in 2004, it was in Paris that Veronica Marucci discovered her true passion: hats. A fetish accessory at all stages of her life which became the center of her artistic research. In 2015, she founded the Veronica Marucci Chapeaux Maison. Since then, she has created unique pieces for celebrities, haute couture Maisons and cinema. Her ambition: to put hats back at the heart of everyday life.
Her key moment. The opening of her boutique-workshop in 2015, rue Saint-Roch, next to the Louvre. The starting point of a creative adventure that established her as a reference for custom-made hats.
Her inspiration. Her customers themselves. Each personality becomes the starting point for a unique piece. Plays of shapes or dazzling colors, her hats reveal everyone's inner light.
Design and Tableware Award
LAURA CAMBON – Glass artisan
A graduate of the Beaux-Arts and Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Laura Cambon began her career at Lalique, the iconic crystal Maison. There she discovered the magic of light passing through glass and the poetic universe of René Lalique. Trained at the European Center for Research and Training in Glass Arts (CERFAV), she opened her workshop in 2019 in the French Landes, where she creates custom decorations, panels and lighting for projects in France and internationally.
A key moment. Her encounter with glass at Lalique, a click that revealed her favorite material and guided her entire career.
Her inspiration. The poetry of nature: flowers, algae, foliage, shifting light. Her articulated meshes, inspired by textiles and jewelry, give glass unexpected flexibility and transform interiors into sensitive landscapes.
Preservation of French Heritage Award
MARION HERBAUX – Conservator-restorer of cultural property
A graduate of a master's degree in conservation-restoration of cultural property at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Marion Herbaux specializes in the restoration of works on paper. In 2011, she founded her Papier d'Antan workshop in the Hauts-de-France and restores manuscripts, drawings, posters and old maps for museums as well as for private clients. A master craftswoman since 2019, she obtained the title of conservator-restorer of cultural property in 2024.
Her key moment. At 11, watching a documentary on the restoration of the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, she turned to her parents: "That's what I want to do." On the living room sofa, a vocation was born that still guides her today.
Her inspiration. Memory. Each document is a witness to life, sometimes yellowed or damaged, which she cares for so that it can pass through time. Restoring means preserving a fragment of history and returning it to future generations.
Winemaking Award
ANNE-SOPHIE QUENARD – Winemaker, oenologist
A vine engineer and oenologist graduated from the Changins school in Switzerland, Anne-Sophie Quénard traveled from Burgundy to New Zealand, from the United States to South Africa, before returning, in 2020, to the family estate of Chignin in Savoie. Heir to a wine-growing history dating back to 1644, she now cultivates 16 hectares organically, on demanding slopes worked by hand.
Her key moment. As a teenager, she did an internship with starred chef Jean Sulpice at Oxalys, revealing to her the world of wine and sommelier. Years later, the confinement, which she experienced from New Zealand, acted as a trigger. She decided to return to invest in the family adventure.
Her inspiration. The multidisciplinary nature of her profession, from the vine to the production of wine to sales, fascinates her. Each stage offers her avenues for reflection to fully integrate into organic farming.
Jewelry, Watchmaking Award
ALEXANDRA BIOCHE – Prospector and lapidary
Following a serious health problem, Alexandra Boiche from Auvergne developed a passion for mineralogy. Training herself in cutting and repairing gems, she gradually transformed her fascination into a profession. In 2020, she founded the Geologic Garden workshop, with an ethical and artisanal approach. In 2024, she became the owner of her French sapphire deposit and opened her own cutting workshop.
Her key moment. Immobilized for months, she discovered mineralogy and began prospecting in the mountains, with a crutch in her hand. Stone became her refuge and her rebirth.
Her inspiration. Nature and prospectors' stories gave birth to her passion. Now, she leads introductory workshops to inspire and create vocations in order to revive this disappearing ancestral savoir-faire.
