LIVE, the “L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi”, is a vocational education program for people over the age of 25 to help them return to employment. Chaired by French first lady Brigitte Macron, the program is supported by the LVMH Group. LIVE gives participants a chance to discover vocations, find a job or training, or start their own business thanks to a personalized support approach.

Three LIVE campuses have been created to date. The first opened in September 2019 in Clichy-sous-Bois, followed by a second in Valence in March 2021 and a third in Roubaix in July 2021 at the Jean Arnault Campus.

Since its creation in September 2019, LIVE has helped over 200 adults move forward to rejoin the workforce, achieving a success rate in excess of 75%.

Support

Designed by the LIVE educational committee, the LIVE courses run over ten months, including four weeks of on-the-job training.

This program includes consolidation of key skills, personal development and identification of vocational goals.

The initial segment of the educational support agenda concentrates on key skills to enable students to consolidate knowledge in essential disciplines:  written and oral communication,  English,  math, digital.

A second segment is dedicated to personal development and life skills to help students recognize their potential and ability to move forward. This includes the following areas: learning to learn, learning to work with a group, self knowledge, public speaking and speaking in different social contexts, sports and exercise, Interacting with others and citizenship, and culture.

The final segment helps participants articulate personal and professional goals by discovering different professions, articulating personal vocational goals and four weeks of on-the-job experience.
