Our commitment
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
At LVMH, protecting the environment is inseparable from preserving the resources, ecosystems and craftsmanship that underpin the long-term future of luxury. Through its scale, influence and capacity for innovation, the Group works to help drive meaningful change across its industry and contribute to the protection and regeneration of natural ecosystems. Launched in 2021, LIFE 360 (LVMH Initiatives For the Environment) sets out the Group’s environmental ambitions through a series of measurable objectives for 2023, 2026 and 2030. The program is structured around five strategic priorities: Creative Circularity, Biodiversity, Climate, Traceability & Transparency, and Stakeholder Engagement.
As part of its commitment to continuous progress, LVMH continues to strengthen and expand its approach. Since 2023, LIFE 360 has been complemented by a dedicated water strategy tailored to the Group’s diverse activities, as well as new initiatives designed to support suppliers in their environmental transition. Progress is monitored across the Group’s 75 Maisons through a shared reporting framework, supported by a network of nearly 200 environmental correspondents. This structure helps track the achievement of LIFE 360 objectives while supporting the Group’s sustainability reporting requirements, including those related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
In 2025, LVMH reached several important milestones. The Group launched the first LIFE 360 Awards, recognizing thirteen environmental initiatives developed by its Maisons, and introduced the LIFE 360 Business Partners program to help strategic suppliers accelerate their transition. As part of this effort, selected LIFE Academy training programs were opened to partners across the value chain. During the year, LVMH also reinforced the financial oversight of its climate commitments through the creation of a Sustainable Finance task force bringing together Finance and Environmental Development teams.
Together, these initiatives reflect a clear ambition: to help shape a more circular, more transparent and more regenerative future for luxury.

OUR STRATEGIC PILLARS
To achieve the targets set out in the LIFE 360 program regarding creative circularity, the Group and its Maisons are deploying a range of sustainable services – such as repair, refill or recovery services through repurposed product channels – and expanding the application of sustainable design in its products and packaging. LVMH constantly optimizes its existing fabrics and also invents new sustainable fabrics.Find out moreAMPLIFYING CREATIVE CIRCULARITY
Nature’s resources are at the heart of the exceptional products created by the Group and its Maisons. Protecting and restoring ecosystems is therefore a long-term priority. Through LIFE 360, LVMH is pursuing a strategy focused on measuring and reducing its impact on nature while helping regenerate biodiversity.Find out morePROTECTING BIODIVERSITY
The Group's path to decarbonization is based on operational action plans for reducing its emissions. In that spirit, LVMH and its Maisons are speeding decarbonization at its sites and stores via an energy efficiency policy and the deployment of renewable energy. The Group has also defined priorities and action plans for reducing its Scope 3 emissions, which account for 96% of its carbon footprint.Find out moreTAKING ACTION FOR THE CLIMATE
Supply chain traceability is essential to guarantee responsible practices all throughout the product life cycle. Drawing on its certification policy initially developed in 2016, the Group is honing its upstream traceability processes for the most complex supply chains by cooperating more closely with suppliers and market players. It promotes enhanced traceability within strategic supply chains and collaborates with its peers to establish industry-wide standards.Find out moreGUARANTEEING RESPONSIBLE AND TRANSPARENT VALUE CHAINS

The environmental challenges can be overcome only if everyone works together, which means getting public institutions, the private sector, scientists, NGOs and industry peers all on the same page.
