From June 15 to 26 2026, LVMH has taken part in the observation internship scheme for tenth-grade students put in place by the French Ministry of National Education, notably through a program of equality of the chances mixing relatives of employees and youth from underserved neighborhoods of the city. Over the course of two weeks, these high-school students discovered the professions, expertise, and work environments of the Group and its Maisons.
Far more than a simple observational placement, this immersive program enabled them to explore the diversity of careers in luxury through workshops and meetings with the teams. Creation, craftsmanship, communication, digital, innovation, media, and social responsibility were among the many fields they were able to experience in a tangible way.
The students were notably welcomed at 24S, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Les Échos – Le Parisien, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, and the Jardin d’Acclimatation. Workshops designed with LVMH Métiers d’Excellence, in collaboration with Guerlain, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and Officine Universelle Buly, also offered them an immersion into exceptional savoir-faire.
This initiative is part of a broader approach led by LVMH to support young people in shaping their future paths and to strengthen equal opportunity. The Group is conducting similar actions in other regions of the world, notably in North America, with a Career Discovery Week organised in New York, and in China, through several programs dedicated to orientation, apprenticeship, and professional inclusion.
This mobilisation reflects the Group’s long-term commitment to youth, education, and professional integration. In 2025, LVMH recruited 24,000 young people under the age of 30, including 14,000 on permanent contracts, and signed more than 11,000 internship or apprenticeship contracts.
For several years, the Group has also developed orientation and support initiatives, with a strong presence in Seine-Saint-Denis. In 2025, 150 middle-school students benefited from discovery placements and educational visits within the Group’s Maisons. LVMH also supports several initiatives promoting equal opportunity, including the Sciences Po’s Priority Education Conventions, the You & ME programs, as well as the association Nos Quartiers ont des Talents, alongside employees actively involved in mentoring. As a co-founder of ARPEJEH, the Group also works for the professional integration of young people with disabilities. Finally, LVMH has created LIVE – The Institute of Vocations for Employment in 2019, to offer an accompaniment of quality to people who exited active life for more than a year and wishingto reconstruct a new professional future.
