The inclusion of people with disabilities is a key commitment of LVMH’s CSR roadmap. The Group is pursuing its objective of reaching 2% of employees identified as people with disabilities by the end of 2025, with the ambition of raising this figure to 5% in the medium term.
Launched during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the DARE Accessibility programme aims to foster innovation and the implementation of concrete solutions to ensure the long-term inclusion of employees, customers and partners across the Group’s Maisons.
To mark the International Day of People with Disabilities, on 3 december, LVMH is unveiling a ten-minute documentary highlighting four initiatives led by employees, illustrating both the human impact and the business contribution of an inclusive approach:
· Pink Tailor Made (LVMH) – a tailoring service dedicated to women who have had breast cancer.
· Low Sensory Shopping Hours (Sephora) – calm time slots adapted to welcoming our neurodivergent customers.
· Welcome Handi Kit (Le Bon Marché) – inclusive welcome kits that facilitate the in-store experience for customers.
· En’Able (Louis Vuitton) – a service that fosters dialogue between employees with disabilities and their managers, to support equal opportunities and professional development.
“This documentary reflects our collective commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities. Whether they are our clients or our employees, we want everyone to feel integrated, respected, and able to find their own place. In the spirit of the Paralympic Games, DARE Accessibility has harnessed the energy of our teams, who have imagined and implemented dozens of concrete actions and innovative projects to help us move forward together towards a more inclusive society. This film showcases the human connections born from these initiatives, which we hope will endure within the Group and beyond,” says Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Chief Human Resources Officer, LVMH.
By shining a light on these initiatives and on the people behind them, the documentary reflects the collective commitment of the Maisons and Regions, and reaffirms the Group’s determination to support and develop the employment of people with disabilities, at the heart of its social ambition. In addition to the initiatives presented, many Maisons are also implementing more than 30 ideas emerging from DARE Accessibility, demonstrating the scale of the movement. DARE Accessibility thus continues to expand within the Group, strengthening an inclusive culture for all of our 215,000 talents.
