CULTIVATING EXCELLENCE
The LVMH HR policy positions talent development at the center of everything it does. Deployed in 2024, the strategic “HR New Deal” is a five-point plan focusing on learning, career paths, culture of engagement, appeal and stronger leadership. The framework seeks to bolster the employee experience and encourage people to take advantage of career opportunities within the Group – with a target to open 75% of vacancies to internal applicants – and value each individual. A new HR promise has been rolled out throughout the Maisons to enable everyone to take ownership of their career, with the support of training, tailored management and a policy to make job opportunities transparent.
SAFEGUARDING THE GROUP'S FUTURE AND INNOVATING IN TRAINING
Day in, day out, LVMH employees harness their expertise, creativity and drive for excellence to boost the desirability of the Maisons. To further their personal development, the Group has enriched its educational programs. The INSIDE LVMH online education platform available to all has enabled over 125,000 people to earn a certificate in introduction to luxury. The LVMH House provides immersive training courses such as Living LVMH and LVMH Discovery, and trains the leaders of tomorrow through Leading for the Future, which has already benefited over 1,100 leaders throughout the world. At the same time, LVMH continues to attract young talent. In 2024, the Group recruited over 28,000 people under the age of 30, 16,009 of whom on permanent contracts across all professions within the Group.
SHINING A SPOTLIGHT ON OUR MÉTIERS D'EXCELLENCE
The LVMH Institut des Métiers d’Excellence, which now operates in eight countries, celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2024. Over 3,300 apprentices have been trained by the institute since its inception, including 500 in 2024. 93% of them obtained their LVMH Certificate of Excellence, and 73% joined one of the Group’s Maisons or their partners. LVMH has also set up the Académie des Métiers d’Excellence, which earned Qualiopi certification in 2024, to enhance the skills of craftspeople in our Maisons. The community of Virtuosos, set up in 2021, now boasts 259 members who embody the Group’s exceptional savoir-faire, each of whom received an accolade on stage at the 2024 “SHOW ME” events in Paris, Milan and Shanghai.
