In 2021, the Group was present for a hybrid edition gathering 26,000 in-person attendees in Paris and 114,000 attendees connected on VivaTech’s online platform. This phygital edition served as an inspirational space for the Group to present the latest innovations from +15 Maisons and showcase the creative solutions from 28 finalists of the LVMH Innovation Award, under the theme “Where Tech meets Luxury”.

Eco-design is a core component of LVMH’s environmental strategy and the ambition was to forge a new alliance between nature and creativity by crafting a booth in harmony with the environment and respectful of the planet’s ecosystems. 14 Maisons were presenting their latest innovations and 12 startups out the 28 finalists showcased their solutions during the 4-days event.

The iconic space for art and culture, The Fondation Louis Vuitton, has welcomed 37 speakers to record the inspiring talks of the Group and 14 of its Maisons. During the 4-day event, VivaTech’s online attendees had the chance to discover 18 different talks about client experience, data, sustainability and digital transformation among others. The 2021 LVMH Innovation Award
For the first time in the history of the LVMH Innovation Award competition, six startups received awards, instead of three in previous years. The winner of the 2021 LVMH Innovation Award is Bambuser, a startup specialized in Live Stream Shopping.
