"Le Parfum", the new J’adore advertising film, is an ode to creativity, an immersion into the fascinating, secret and poetic universe of luxury. Shot in India, Provence, the island of Murano and Paris, the film offers a discovery of a world inspired by the quest for excellence and the search for the rarest floral essences.
The film follows Maison Dior Perfume Creator François Demachy as he flies over Domaine de Manon’s fields of May rose in Grasse and visits the flower markets of India, where J’adore sources its jasmine sambac. He presents the distilleries where absolutes are made and invites us into the Dior laboratory in Paris.
The journey continues in Italy at the Murano glassworks with artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, who was given carte blanche by Dior to design a luxury limited edition of the iconic perfume bottle. He transforms the J’adore amphora into sculpture of gold and hand-blown glass, exquisitely crafted by Murano master glassmakers.
There are multiple versions of "Le Parfum": two TV spots (30 and 60 seconds), plus a 90-second version for movie theaters. There are also a longer three-and-a-half minute film plus a full-length documentary available on the Dior YouTube channel, a 20-minute magical journey to discover the luxuriant essence of J’adore L’Absolu.
