Bulgari’s new fragrance for men, Aqva Amara, is inspired by the infinitely rich “scentscape” of the Mediterranean region. Aquatic and mineral, the scent follows the trail of the House’s best-selling Aqva pour Homme, also crafted by French perfumer-creator Jacques Cavallier in 2004. Accords of intoxicating citrus, Indonesian patchouli and neroli flower oil combine with more nervous fresh marine accents. The deep copper bottle is inspired by the volcanic geography of the region. Lensed by photographer Mario Sorrenti, the ad campaign features a Greek hero with a timeless Mediterranean sensuality.
