For F/W 2010 RTW, John Galliano offers an urban iteration of haute couture equestrians, transforming the Christian Dior woman into an audacious, romantic and libertine equestrian. More sexy than ever, she sports provocative jodhpurs, thigh-high riding boots, riding habits and flirts barely dressed in floral muslin. Riding jackets and mohair coats with large checks were joined by a series of delicate dresses. Leather was also omnipresent, smocked on a black dress or with broderie anglaise. Browns, tender pastels and a soft mesh created a perfectly fitted allure, equal parts provocative and romantic.
