Masculine-feminine
at Givenchy

For F/W 2010 RTW, Riccardo Tisci delighted with a Givenchy collection inspired by the world of skiing and Bauhaus colors, with an accent on tailoring and adapting a men’s wardrobe to women. Faux classic men’s overcoats molted into tails. Tapered black neoprene pants paired with ultra-sporty jacquard print sweaters.

The general somber look was brightened by fiery flashes of red geranium on embroidered gloves. Evening chic turned to transparent lace, leather and deep nocturnal velvet. This unexpected blending of influences created an enticing dialogue as Givenchy proposed an ultra-modern urban sophistication.
