Encouraging creativity and discovery of promising young talents from across the world, the yearly International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyeres has been proudly supported by LVMH for 16 years. The 29th edition of the Festival will take place April 25-28, 2014 at Villa Noailles in the South of France.

Led by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the Creative Directors of Kenzo, the panel of fashion judges including Carol Song (Head Buyer at Opening Ceremony), Chloë Sevigny (actress), Jay Massacret (Chief Editor of Fashion for VMan) and Eric Wilson (Fashion News Director at InStyle America) met in Paris on January 22 to shortlist 10 designers from over 300 candidates who have submitted their work for consideration.

The shortlisted womenswear collections include creations by Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Coralie Marabelle (both France), Yulia Yefimtchuk (Ukraine), Liselore Frowijn (Netherlands), Anne Kluytenaar (Netherlands), Marit Ilison (Estonia), Kenta Mat sushige (Japan) and Roshi Porkar (Austria).

Menswear collections are represented by Agnese Narnicka (Latvia), Pablo Henrard (Belgium) and Anne Kluytenaar (Netherlands).

During the Festival, the young designers will be able to showcase their collections during three shows open to the public and will be awarded several prizes.

Each year the Hyeres Festival welcomes numerous fashion professionals, representatives of the media and retailers, thus giving the participants broad international exposure and invaluable experience in the industry. Over the years, the Festival has served as a springboard for a number of internationally-renowned fashion talents, including Viktor & Rolf, Alexandre Matthieu, Oscar Suleyman and Sébastien Meunier.
