For two months beginning November 5, Louis Vuitton will celebrate Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights. The iconic trunkmaker’s store windows around the world are featuring elegant traditional Hindu motifs in a staging designed by Rajeev Sethi, an Indian artist active in promoting the country’s rich heritage.

Internationally renowned for his skill in bringing contemporary relevance to the work of traditional artists and craftsmen, Rajeev Sethi has drawn inspiration from light and joy. Hand-painted Louis Vuitton trunks give passers-by a feeling of gaiety and festivity.
