Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team. The HR Trainee will be based in our NYC Corporate office and will help to impact the organization through the searching of talents to bring onto our Retail teams and will also be responsible for assisting with other HR topics.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comfortable supporting multiple TA managers and their hiring needs
  • Create, manage, and close job requisition in our applicant tracking systems
  • Assist in drafting offer letters and ensuring completed signed copies are returned and properly filed
  • Assist in onboarding new hires within our internal systems and facilitate candidate background check
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Generalist, Controlling as well as IT, and Retail Operations team to ensure Joiners are set up and entered into our systems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintenance of organizational charts for retail teams as well as ad hoc projects
  • Maintain accurate records of employees in systems data with particular focus on headcount and position budgeting
  • Manage logistics of temporary employees (on-payroll and agency hires)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex work environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
  • Ability to take initiative and work to resolve system issues through communication, flexibility & collaboration with partnering teams
  • Ability to organize and track important documents are collected and competed accurately for company purpose
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time, 12 Month Program
  • Available to work M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
  • At least 6 months of prior experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Profile

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
