Store Design Manager (M/F)

The store design manager will lead point of sales roll out projects from first layout to implementation and ensure constant update to our concept to secure brand image in worldwide scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business by providing an outstanding customer experience through store design and space productivity
  • Be responsible for the design and store planning process through completion for new or existing points of sale across channels (Retail, Franchise, Shop-in-shop, Travel Retail, Outlets, institutional Pop-ups) for a specific Region.
  • Manage new construction, renovation, relocation, or maintenance projects in close collaboration with your dedicated Region:
    • Sketches initial layout and define the best strategy with our regions and HQ teams.
    • Control design architect team during design stage, and monitor projects priority.
    • Define Visual Merchandising strategy according to products and marketing approaches.
    • Overseeing all store construction phases with the regions
    • Overviewing and assessing budget controlling and follow up for all projects
  • Create and update guidelines based on best practice and concept evolution.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve standard furniture with the latest trends, material, lighting, and digital technologies.
  • Build a partnership with different departments such as Retail Excellence, Operations, Brand, IT, Purchasing.
  • Maintain constant dialogue with vendors, local architects, and suppliers.

 

As store design team member, you will be also integrated in the new concept development:

  • Follow up prototype and pilot stage
  • Be involved in roll out stage

The position will be a part of the Store design & Visual Merchandising team, in charge of boutiques, corners, pop up, displays and windows animations and will require collaboration with other teams’ members, and our regions.

 


Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in architecture or interior design with at least 8 years of experience in Store Design
  • You have great knowledge of premium or luxury segment.
  • You are very creative, and detail focused
  • You have an expertise in construction process and materials; and experience of managing different projects on the same time
  • You are pragmatic, organized, team player and solution oriented
  • You have a strong empathy and ability to understand and create bonds within different cultural environment
  • You are fluent in English and French
  • You are an expert on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop-Illustrator) and Autocad.
