About This Role:

The Wholesale Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the wholesale business and ensuring the brand's continued success in the South Korean market. Reporting to the General Manager, South Korea, the Wholesale Manager will be responsible for overseeing approximately 20 points of sale (POS), including DFS and our wholesale partners. The role involves strategic leadership in maximizing sales performance, expanding market presence, and fostering strong partnerships to uphold TAG Heuer's reputation as a premier luxury watch brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the wholesale operations for TAG Heuer in South Korea, including DFS and other wholesale partners, to achieve revenue targets and maintain profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive wholesale sales growth, expand market share, and enhance brand visibility in South Korea.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and cross-functional teams to align wholesale strategies with overall business objectives and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key wholesale partners, retailers, and distributors to ensure effective collaboration and support for business goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track wholesale performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and ethical standards in all wholesale activities in South Korea.

Profile

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury watch industry, including understanding of competitor brands, market trends, and consumer preferences in South Korea.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with wholesale partners, distributors, and retailers, including terms related to pricing, product placement, and marketing support.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate wholesale initiatives and promotional campaigns effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and Korean language (both verbal and written) to facilitate communication with different stakeholders and navigate business operations in South Korea.
  • Experience in conducting market research, gathering consumer insights, and translating findings into actionable strategies to drive wholesale sales growth.
  • Familiarity with retail operations and merchandising principles, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales training.
  • Ability to travel domestically within South Korea and internationally for meetings, trade shows, and training sessions as required.
