Louis Vuitton,

With its new advertising campaign, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to its artisans, spotlighting their unique skills and their unerring attention to detail. Shot by the photographer Désirée Dolron, the campaign consists of a triptych of portraits that reprise the codes of 17th century Dutch painting.

The photographer was inspired by the works of Vermeer, with their precise lighting and intimate atmosphere. Each visual portrays one of the specific steps in the crafting of a Louis Vuitton product: "The young woman and the tiny folds", "The seamstress with linen thread and beeswax", "The craftsman with his brush".
