As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our team and drive growth in the Fragrances and Hair sector.

 

Job Summary:

 

As the Category Manager for the Fragrances and Hair sector within the Beauty division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize sales, profitability, and market share for the assigned product categories. You will leverage your expertise in market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative product offerings that meet the needs of our target audience.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Develop and execute category strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives, including assortment planning, pricing strategy, and promotional activities.

2. Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth in the Fragrances and Hair sector.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to develop and launch new products that meet consumer needs and align with brand objectives.

4. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with company goals and standards.

5. Monitor and analyze sales performance, market share, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

6. Work closely with the Sales team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.

7. Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

8. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, product development, or related roles within the beauty industry.

- Deep understanding of the Fragrances and Hair sector, including market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and category management software (e.g., Nielsen, IRI).
