Join us in our headquarter in Cologne as Purchsasing Intern.

YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials
  • Be a true project team member applying the purchasing process in an agile and structured way
  • Define the scope, the specific requirements and build the list of potential suppliers in tandem with the responsible Sourcing Buyer
  • Establish and maintain the relationship with the internal clients (i.e.: Quality, Development, Procurement Planning) via regular meetings and follow-up
  • Manage the communication channel with suppliers and escalate to the Sourcing Buyers when relevant
  • Design and customize iterative RFQ and follow-through with feedback, analysis, decision making, contracting and implementation
  • Track progress and cost and take actions when risk occurs

Profile

  • Master Degree in Purchasing, preferably coupled with an Engineering master
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Appetize for Industrial Purchasing, ideally supported by a first student mission
  • Curious, team player and willing to learn
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Problem solving, attention to the details, team working attitude and flexibility
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written; French or German is a plus
