Position

About This Role:
The PR/Event Manager for TAG Heuer Korea will be pivotal in shaping and executing our public relations strategies and managing all aspects of our marketing events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public relations, event management, and marketing. They should be highly organized, creative, and possess exceptional communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of TAG Heuer Korea. Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communication Director - South Korea and will be individual contributor in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance of TAG Heuer's brand image and promote its products or services.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Write press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media appearances for key company spokespersons.
  • Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events including product launches, conferences, trade shows, and corporate gatherings.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, and transportation.
  • Create event timelines, budgets, and project plans, and ensure that events are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and sponsors to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Evaluate the success of events through metrics such as attendance, feedback, and ROI, and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing documents and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to support the sales team in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager or senior management.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a marketing, PR, and marketing event at least 10 years with bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of PR principles, media relations, and event planning best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative PR and event concepts.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Good command of ERP and order management software (SAP, SalesForce, etc.)
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • More than proficiency in English both verbal and written and native in Korean
