Position
RIMOWA has a unique opportunity for a Product Development Manager to join the
Industrial/Manufacturing team, to support on the development and manufacturing of future RIMOWA products.

The Product Development Manager is responsible for developing finished products with our subcontractors, controlling its quality and ensuring an excellent relationship with our subcontractors.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
° Plan, organize and oversee production in relationship with our subcontractor
° Control the development and quality of prototypes and final production with our
subcontractors
° Propose improvements or modifications to current processes
° Manage the relationship with subcontractors including crisis management
° Liaise with engineering, research & development, product development and other
operations teams to ensure the production within the defined timeline
° Track and report on project KPI's and progress, alert on possible difficulties and
impeachements
Profile
° Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent field with at least 10 years'
experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Product Development Management
° Experience in project management in B2C organizations with cross-functional teams
(Marketing, Design and Industrial, Supply)
° Experience in consumer goods or fashion industry and technical environments
° Knowledge in composites material and manufacturing processes as well as experience
with textile and leather transformation processes are a must
° Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing in Italian & English, German or French would be a plus
